Don’t let the damp summer stop you and the family enjoying yourselves in Llandudno, North Wales. Llandudno has some great all weather attractions for when the sun doesn’t shine from a multiplex cinema to north Wales largest theatre.
North Wales largest theatre is located on Llandudno’s Victorian promenade and plays regular host to top quality shows and comedians. There is plenty of music on offer from top quality bands as well as specialist festivals and shows for the kids. The recently added restaurant is a great place to eat allowing you to make a day or night of it.
Keeping the kids entertained is easy if you take them ten pin bowling. Llandudno’s Superbowl is located just a short distance from the town centre on Mostyn Champneys retail park. There’s plenty of car parking spaces nearby and it’s fully licensed bar and cafe are great to grab some refreshment between games.
Oriel Mostyn is open every Tuesday to Saturday and is Llandudno’s premier art gallery and the largest independently funded art gallery in Wales. The gallery is located just a short walk from the town centre and Mostyn Street. There is a good selection of contemporary art as well as regular exhibitions by local artists.
Visit Llandudno’s Home Front Museum for a look into what life was like in Llandudno during the Second World War. There is a wide variety of memorabilia and exhibits from the time giving a detailed insight into the war years. The Home Front Museum is just a few minutes’ walk from Llandudno’s town centre.
Llandudno’s cinema is located in the nearby town of Llandudno Junction which is just five minutes away by car from the town centre. The cinema shows all the latest films as well as a regular mix of popular children’s films. Located next to the cinema are three fast food restaurants so it’s a great place to spend a day. Every Saturday morning there is a children’s special with entry for just one pound per person.
