Llandudno is a great place to stay in North Wales and is the regions premier coastal resort. The town has the largest choice of hotels in North Wales and offers everything from large hotels to smaller boutique style hotels. The majority of Llandudno hotels are located on the town’s Victorian promenade. The promenade is perfectly framed between the Great Orme at the north end and the Little Orme to the east. The Risboro Hotel is approximately 10 minutes walk from the town centre and promenade and is located in a more peaceful area of Llandudno. The Risboro Hotel has earned a reputation for quality and service and whilst not as large as some other hotels it offers an excellent choice for accommodation slightly away from the town centre.

Another location that offers peace and quiet is Llandudno’s West Shore which is home to a small number of hotels. The West Shore enjoys wonderful views across the Conwy estuary towards Snowdonia and Anglesey. Llandudno’s West Shore is an ideal location if you want to be close to the beach but away from the town centre. The West Shore is approximately 20 minutes walk from the town centre or can be reached by taxi or bus if you don’t want to take the car.

The Deganwy Quay Hotel and Bodysgallen Hall and Spa Hotel are two hotels located within a couple of miles of Llandudno town centre that are worth mentioning.
